The 3rd Bienniel AAMCFHN conference was held in Adelaide on the 2-4 April 2009
Over 600 delegates attended and feedback has shown it was a great success. There were some excellent key note speakers and a range of health professional papers presented. A big thank you goes to the organising committee which was led by Pam Murphy.
The conference was held at the Adelaide Convention Centre which is situated in the heart of Adelaide over looking the Torrens River. The committe took full advantage of this by holding the welcoming reception cocktail party in the main exhibition hall and foyer.
The conference dinner was a huge success, with over 400 delegates enjoying a country and western theme. The night kicked off with some basic boot scooting classes and the dancing went onto late into the night.
Check out the photo gallery to see some great photos of the opening reception, conference speakers and conference dinner.
This conference was also an opportunity for the AAMCFHN's Board to have a face to face meeting.
Thanks to all those people who attended the conference and making it such a successful event. See you all in the Gold Coast in 2011.
