Queensland Rural and Remote Child Nursing Symposium

The Queensland Child and Youth Clinical Network (QCYCN), in collaboration with Maternal, Child and Family Health Nurses Australia (MCaFHNA) are hosting the Queensland Rural and Remote Child Nursing Symposium on Friday, 21 August 2026, from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

This one-day hybrid event will bring together nurses and clinicians from across Queensland to celebrate achievements in rural and remote child health nursing, share innovative models of care, explore practical solutions, and strengthen connections across the sector.

💻 Format: Hybrid (online and in-person regional hubs)

📧 Virtual attendance: Participants who register for online attendance will receive a Microsoft Teams link and event details following the close of registrations and before the symposium.

This symposium is designed for:

• Queensland Health clinicians and healthcare staff with an interest in rural and remote child health nursing
• Representatives from partner organisations working with Child and Family Health teams
