Full Member
- Open to Registered Nurses who are working in maternal child and family health practice
- Full members have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Associate Member
- Open to individuals who are interested in maternal child and family health but who are not eligible for full membership
- Associate members do not have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Student Member
- Open to Registered Nurses who are studying maternal child and family health nursing
- Student members do not have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Free ( (Postgraduate Child and Family Health Nursing courses) The MCaFHNA board have passed a motion to approve free membership for renewing students, and new student applications as of 1 July 2025
